Simply Irresistible, by any stretch the book that the Sarah Michelle Gellar movie by the same name might be based on? Horrible, awful movie, that I can't not watch if it's on?

I never saw the movie so I looked it up on Netflix. It does sound like one of those train wreck movies that you just have to watch. The book was a different plot, although it was equally train wreskesque.
