I hear you on the annoying public transit stuff. The T in Boston is usually pretty good, but occasionally the whole operation takes a turn for the asinine and I'm waiting around for an hour.

Weirdly, the busking is one of my favorite things about Boston. I haven't spent enough time in NYC to know anything about the street performers there, but the ones here are pretty cool. I don't think I've heard/seen a bad one yet.
