I just updated my notebook with an SSD and Windows 7 64 bit, plus I added memory, up to 8GB now

I'll just wait until solid state is, gigabyte for gigabyte, equal in price to conventional storage.

If you are putting together a new system or trying to get more from an old one, an SSD boot drive is an amazing upgrade value. It's just not simple to do it right. :(
