Saw the legendary Marx Brothers film A Day at the Races (1937) at the Alex Theater in Glendale last night, and I had forgotten how talented both Chico and Harpo were at playing the piano and the harp respectively.

Back in the Bronze Age, I hooked my tape deck up to my VCR and made a tape of all the Chico, Harpo, and Groucho songs from the movies that I had. What a great tape that was. Analog, do you hear me? Analog!

I've been known to do such a stunt with films such as Harold and Maude and Silent Running.
I now have a quest to see each and every Marx Bros. film I have not yet been enlightened with. I think the next one on the list will be either A Night at the Opera or Horsefeathers.

One of my dreams is to own every film on DVD. But my understanding is they are not all out, or not all out in high quality.
