[He's watching the news. Vermont news, which usually covers a little bit of NH and upstate NY, too, since it's such a small news area and hardly anything ever happens. But when it gets the the weather, he scowls a little bit.]

How come New York and Penn get almost two feet I don't even see a flake?

((OOC: Yeah, he's talking about snow again. ( Read more... )

skiing's gonna be terrible, winter, let it snow

Like really, do you think I wanted all of that snow?

[ooc: I know how you feel. I seriously thought PA was just going to get a light dusting. "Major Storm" usually translates to, "An inch or so" of snow.
Guess the news was right this time around.]

Dude, I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at the goddamn weather. Friggin' northeast winds do the craziest things sometimes.

((That whole area pretty much shut down, didn't it? Need some more emergency weather precautions or whatever.))

He sighs while trying to warm himself up.
I saw how it looked on the news from home. So much of it too; haven't seen anything like that since the '90s.
But it is pretty, wish I could play in it...

[ooc: *nods* Yup, and it's weird because Philadelphia never get that much snow when it does happen. Seeing three feet of snow in the city is freaking me out XD And it's so quite, only sign of life is when the buses ride by. Other than that you don't hear many cars driving by. And no, we didn't prepare, we kinda took the news words with a grain of salt orz. ]

It's too bad you guys don't do skiing, that looks like some wicked awesome ski snow.

((Craaaazy. I mean, we always take news with a grain of salt because the weather changes so quickly, but still.))

I don't know, I think two feet is a little too much all at once... [ He likes snow and the cold, but not snowstorms. They're a pain to deal with. ]

Well, getting it all at once sucks, but it's still pretty awesome.

Yeah, I can't say I wasn't looking forward to a snowstorm. Still, it always feels like a rush to prepare for it, then emergency precautions afterwards... It's better than no snow, I guess.

Yeah, the work involved is crazy, but the storm itself... so much fun.

Good luck, man! Forecast for me says light snow showers at best. Disappointing. But we've already got snow, so I guess that's something.

Aww, good luck nonetheless! I'm sure your snow is just late is all. It does that to me all the time...it takes it's time in December and then I'll get a heap full during April...

Oh god that happens all the time. Just when we're all ready for spring to come around it snows again. There's been years when I got snow in May.

It's not as great as it seems. [[he got slammed too, you know.]]

Consider yourself lucky. I would give it to you, if I could...

Now, now, I wouldn't say that.

Hello to you, too. When did you get here, Ethan? I guess I missed your arrival.

Maybe you wouldn't, but I just did. [He grins.] Few weeks ago. Guess we just kept missing each other?

[Well, hello person she hasn't met before! But hey, hands on the hips already for her.]

Ugh, why would ya ever want snow? You can take some of mine.

[ooc: And hi! I don't think we've been introduced. :D I'm DJ, btw.]

[He grins.] Sure, I'd take it if I could. Too bad things don't work like that.

I'm Ethan, by the way. Vermont. You?

[Breaks into a smile and holds out her hand.]
