Agreed. One of his sons was in the summer school class I was working at. On the last day, the kids' families were invited to see all the work they had done and watch a dance performance. Mr. Tenario, his wife, and his two younger children also showed up. They were an adorable family and intially, I was quite surprised to see him in a perspective (devoted father/husband/family guy) I never saw him in.

Homosexuals aren't created. The individuals in Boy Scouts who were homosexual and did terrible things to the children who trusted them are just that; individuals. Twisted individuals at that.

But to say that Boy Scouts produces homosexuals is just unfair. That's the same mentality behind calling every Middle Eastern a terrorist after 9/11.

The thing is, odds are if you hear about Boy Scouts in the media it's going to be just that: Scoutmaster molests children. That's because it's the only thing that the public would care about.

But if you've seen kids grow up through Boy Scouts, and accomplish amazing things, and if you've seen the Scoutmasters that aren't corrupt and honestly care about the people in the troop; well you'd know that Boy Scouts is so much more than a place that "produces homosexuals."
