when you're replacing a couple hard drives, a new video card, usb cards reader, couple extra parts, your puter may not post on boot and you'll be boned.

happened to me. BLEH.

YAY for new stuff! Boo to getting boned in the bad way *wink* and a bigger YAY to having you back up and running! and I too got a nifty box from newegg this week! newegg gives me much <3!

I got 2 x 2GB ram, new merc stealth gaming keyboard, 6 ft optical audio coax, 700 watt coolmax Powersupply, new belkin N42x gamepad thingy and 24" monitor :)

Im seriously thinking on a dual SLI video card upgrade next :)

Hows Issac and the new wonder kitty doing??? They looked soooo pretty in your last post :) Funny because the BTK is medium long haired smoke grey just like your two!

I'm thinking it may have been the combo usb card reader I plugged in that got everything fubar. the damn thing has "eight removable drives" in the load section. then again, it's pretty damned useful for not having to plug in different readers. heh.

you running 64bit windows though? cause if not, you'll only see three gigs of ram, not the full four. :( my next upgrade is going to involve the mobo and ram, which are two years old and no longer are being supplied with parts.

kitties are fine, though they are mildly annoyed since they had their annual vet day yesterday. and right now they're fighting over space on my lap for their snooze.

eww.. I had one of those card reader, it did floppy drive and all the other cards and it too constantly crashed my computer. I ended up disconnecting it.

I am running 64x so im covered on the ram front :)

I always am. Don't know if you read my blog or if I posted it. The local Band up here (High School) is going to Washington DC for the inauguration next week. Both boys are going, they are really excited.
