I'm kinda curious as well, mainly because I tried to polinate the flowers myself using a plastic bag and brush. We shall see in a month or two I guess.

I thought I had read somewhere that it was too moist for them here. Wanna come pollinate my melons? You can have half if they take!

the potatos died. the wonderful red bull ants apparently ate them from the inside out in less than a week. I am now in the middle of a pretty nasty chemical and shovel fight with the ants.
Take one shovelfull of ants from one pile, drop em on another, etc. Then chemical the bunch. Joy.

Yay for a big ol' garden! I bought a few little things for my porch on Saturday - strawberries, red leaf lettuce and some dill.

And double yay for RUTGERS tomatoes!

I'm trying to figure out if I can grow strawberries like tomatos, upside down and vine growth.
I'm awaiting tomato paradise. fresh tomatos at every meal! mine! nom nom nom!

I have to think about planting; however, we can't do it here, I have to plant a garden at my Dad's house which means get in the car, haul my ass over to his house, deal with the garden, get in the car, haul my ass home....

We didnt have a garden last year, it just didn't work with everyone running around.
