Car Buying

Today I begin trying to buy my first car. Right now, the plan is to buy a car new, and probably pay for it all up front. Im open to the idea of buying something used, but thered have to be a VERY good reason for me to get a loan. Anybody have any pearls of wisdom they want to share with me about the car buying process?

i'm a huge nissan fan. our family cars are nissans and they've lasted forever. i'd recommend against the civic or camry - they're the most popular cars to get broken into because it's easy to hawk parts.

also, my family's been happy with a bunch of Saturns over the last 14 or so years.

dude, i have to say, even though i LOVE my car and would never trade it for anything, i <3 the saturn.

don't buy a car when you are 8+ months pregnant in july.
