playing half-life 2 makes me feel queasy in my stomach. Literally. Almost to the point of nausea (if youre wondering why I didnt stop before this point, it took me a long time to figure out that it was a computer game causing it).

So yeah, thats really fucking weird.

Because of the content or the FPS-specific dizziness? I've totally become more susceptible to both as I've gotten older. How embarrassing.

I never got past the second level of DOOM-II, or any subsequent FPS due to the nausea. Playing on the first ever color laptop from Compaq and it's horrible, horrible refresh rate probably didn't help.

i don't really know anything about half life, is it violent? is that why you get sick? or more of a movement dizziness thing?

like 5 years ago i was home alone in bozeman and bored so i started playing jerad's game cube and our room mate's game, i can't remember the name of it...fear or something. basically you are in prison and then hell opens up and you have to kill all these monsters with needles their eyes and stuff. i was at this part where this guy is tied up and about to be shot by gun monster things. right as they opened fire the phone rang. i screamed, seriously, and threw the the controller at the tv. terrifying, that phone call.
