Baby Bliss
Chapter 3:
Mao looks at him as he continues to place different kinds of food in front of her. “You’re so sweet”
“It’ll be my treat, so don’t hesitate to ask for more” He smiles at her then stand sup “I’ll leave you two first, I need to ask my mom something” he said as he leaves the room.
After that revelation Aiba insisted going to his parent’s restaurant, it was obvious that he was excited about it and they’ve forgotten about their original plan and that is going to the vet. He led them to a room and was surprised that there was actually a kind of place there. Aiba explained that his father was the one who thought of building a room like that and said that it was for VIP only.
“So he’s sweet now?” Jun sarcastically asks her.
Mao ignores him and just took a pair of chopsticks and starts eating.
“So when will you stop ignoring me?” he asks again but still no response from Mao.
Jun starts to glare at her but he knows that it’ll not work; only she could do that to him. “What do you want me to do to make you talk to me?” he was already desperate.
She gently puts the chopsticks down and finally looks at him “You wanted to talk?”
He bobs his head.
“So why didn’t you try calling me? I’ve been waiting for you to call me but no! No Matsumoto Jun called me for about two weeks. I cannot wait for you forever”
“You need to understand, I was shocked.....”
“Shocked for the whole two weeks?! Oh come on! I thought that, yeah, go give him enough time but two weeks is enough time already!” she was now shouting at him.
“Could you lower your voice? We’re not the only one who’s here” he reminded her.
“Scared that they’ll found out that you got me pregnant?”
Jun didn’t answer and lowers his head.
When Jun didn’t said anything all she could think of was to give him a hard slap or just kick him in the ass but she regains her composure “Oh I see now....”
“I’m really sorry...” says Jun
Mao shakes her head “I can’t believe that you’re saying that” she was really disappointed.
“You know my status. We’re not allowed to...”
“I’m so stupid” Mao slaps her head and starts to laugh “Of course you’re an idol! You’re not allowed to have a girlfriend or to get involved with anyone”
He tries to reach for her hand but she quickly moves away.
“What do you call me then?”
“You’re different and you know that” he said.
“Yeah, different! I’m just your friend”
He tries to reach her once again but she swats his hand “You’re more than that”
“From the very beginning I already know what will happen if they’ll discover what’s happening between us. I took the risk knowing that you’ll eventually tell them that we’re no more than friends. That you’ll deny me”
“I can’t do anything”
Mao stands up, she can’t take it anymore. She feels like throwing up “That’s what you guys are good at, running away!”
Jun also stands up and walks over to Mao “I’ll not run away. I haven’t talked to my manager about our situation. I don’t know what I’ll do or what will be the best step for us...I don’t want to hurt you”
She angrily grabs his shirt “But you’re already hurting me!” she shouted
“You’re not answering my calls....not calling me back...” by now Mao’s already crying “...it really hurts when you said that you’re sorry” Mao whispers as she pulls him closer and leans her head on his chest.

He giddily types in the good news or was it really good news? He asks himself, he just saw how they both reacted earlier “Oh well” he said as he finally decided to send it.
It was Sho who first received the message.
“Baka!” he mutters while he reads the message again. Sho replies back.
Ohno scratches his head “Is this a new song?”
“Oh” Nino said thinking that it might be a new segment for their show.
Back to Aiba, he was waiting inside the kitchen while his mom was busy preparing their food.
“Is Jun and Mao, ok?” she asks.
He smiles at her “They’ll be ok”
“I heard Mao shouting earlier, you shouldn’t have left them alone”
Aiba grins “I’m sure they’ll not try to kill each other”
His mother suspiciously looks at him “Go back there and check! I don’t want people to know that they’re here”
After a few minutes he receives three messages
“What the hell is BABY ARASHI????”
Aiba chuckles then replies back.
“Go see for yourselves
I’ll be waiting here at my family’s place”

Jun slowly runs his hand at her back, trying to calm her down.
“Don’t make me hate you, Jun” says Mao.
Jun didn’t move. He was afraid of that.
“Just tell me if you don’t want it. I never wanted to force you. I can handle this without you”
He finally envelops his hands over Mao’s petite body “I don’t want you to do that. I’m afraid to loose you” he planted a kiss on her forehead “Ok….”
He lifted her head so that he could see her face then wipes the remnants of her tears using his free hand “I’ll not ask for you to wait for me”
Mao bits her lips, anxious at what would he say.
“I’ll do anything you want just don’t hate me”
She hugs him back.
“I’ll take the responsibility. Just don’t leave me, Mao” he was already desperate. He knows he’s already not thinking but he doesn’t want to lose her.
Chapter 4:
“So what do you want to talk about?” Ken asks her then glances at his watch “I have to go to a meeting in thirty minutes so make it fast. I’m a busy person”
“I’ll not talk to you if this isn’t Important” Akiko arches her brow. She really hates dealing with this guy.
“Ken, have you spoken with Jun?” Akiko asks him.
Ken stifles a laughter “Is this about Mao again?”
“Did Jun tried to contact you?”
“I’ll say it again” says Ken emphasizing his last word. “Jun will never touch her. I’ve talked to him and he said that there’s nothing going on between them. They’re just friends. You should know that”
“And you believed him?”
“He already denied it. Jun knows the policy; he’ll not do anything that will affect his career. What else do you want him to tell me?”
“I think I’m going to be sick” Akiko starts to rub her temples.
“I think the one you should watch is Mao not Jun” Ken added.
“What are you trying to say?”
“You people are just trying to use Jun’s popularity. I’m sorry dear but it will not work. Tell Mao to stay away from him”
Akiko really wants to slap this guy “Mao’s not like that! You go tell Jun to stay away from my talent!”
Suddenly Akiko’s phone starts to ring. She took out her phone and saw an unfamiliar number.
“Hello”
“Good afternoon, Akiko”
“Mao?”
“Speaking of the devil” Ken mutters as he took a sip of his coffee.
“About my check-up”
Akiko lowers her voice “Yeah, I’ve already scheduled you for a check-up tomorrow morning. You need to be there at nine”
“Can I reschedule that to a later time?”Mao asks. “If I need to be there by nine, I would have to leave here by five in the morning and I don’t think I can do that”
“You’re just thirty minutes away from the hospital”
“Ummm…Akiko…I-I’m not at home right now” She was hesitant to tell her that she’s there with Aiba and Jun.
“I told you not to go out. Where are you now? I’ll pick you up”
Mao was hesitant to tell her that she’s with Jun right. She’ll not stop if she finds out.
“No need” she replied.
“You‘re not using your phone or you changed your number already?” Akiko asks.
“No, I left my phone at the apartment”
Akiko was getting suspicious already “Where are you now, Mao?”
“At the park” She lied.
“Could you wait a second?” She told Mao then covers the mouthpiece of her phone “Could you call Jun right now?”
Ken rolls his eyes “What now? You want to talk to him?”
“Just call him”
Ken made a face but he did try to call Jun. “It’s busy” he blandly said.
Akiko grabs his phone and checks Juns number then she went back to Mao “Where are you, Mao” she was happy about it already.
“I’m just here”
“Where?”
“Here….”
“Don’t fool me, Mao. You’re with Jun, aren’t you?”
Mao fell silent.
“Go back home, we need to talk” she orders her.
“I can’t go back there”
“Why? Where are you really?”
“I’m at Aiba’s place…I-I’ll go back tomorrow, I promise. I’m just not feeling well right now” Mao stutters.
“You’re in Chiba?” Akiko suddenly shouted..
“Chiba?” Ken looks at her.
“We were planning to go to the vet earlier but then Aiba…”
“Let me talk to Jun” she immediately cuts Mao.
“Jun?”
“If you won’t give the phone to Jun I’ll go there and bring you back home” Akiko threatens her.
“Hey!” Ken tries to get her phone from her “Mao’s with Jun?”

Mao runs down the stairs and went to the living room “Someone wants to talk to you” Mao said as she hands him his phone.
They were now at Aiba’s house. He offered his parents house when Jun asked him if there’s a hotel nearby. He told them that someone might see them there and it’ll cause trouble for the both of them.
Mao took a seat next to Jun and covers her face with a throw pillow.
“What’s wrong Mao?” says Aiba.
“Hello” Jun answers but then he immediately moves the phone away from him. He looks at Mao “It’s Akiko”
She nods her head.
“You called her?”
“Sorry” says Mao.
Jun went back to Mao’s manager and had a good talk with her about an hour and a half. He nearly pressed the end button because Akiko’s getting on his nerves already and when he thought that it’s already over Akiko passed the phone to Ken.
“How was it?” Aiba asks, trying not to laugh at Jun. He just checked on Mao upstairs. She was really not feeling well so he suggested to just let her go back upstairs and let her rest.
“It’s not good. We need to go back to Tokyo early in the morning for her check -up and they’re asking for a meeting” Jun sighs.
“That’s good then. You’ll be able to tell them what’s really going on between you two”
“Argh!”
Aiba placed his hand over to Jun’s shoulder “Just think about Mao. It’s harder for her, you know.”
Jun start to pull his hair “What have I done?”
“You’ve made a baby” Aiba said smiling at him. “It’s not that bad you know. I think you’re lucky. Aren’t you excited to see if it’s a boy or a girl?”
“We can’t tell yet”
“By the way Jun, if it’s a boy will you let him join Johnny’s?”
Jun removes his hand “You’re crazy!” he said as he stomps his feet while going back to the room.
