False Alarm...
nor is my cervix NEARLY ready yet... I'm at about 30% effacement, 1cm, and baby's head is still not engaged (but he was before?), and my cervix is still mostly posterior.
2 weeks of contractions and general sleeplessness and discomfort - all for just THAT much?
I am losing hope FAST.
Because there's NO way I'm going to get Pictocin at only 1cm - that's just screaming for a long, painful, unproductive labor ending in a c-section. My Bishop's score is like a 1-3 probably - UGH.
So I'm definitely going to talk to my Dr. about this induction that's happening Monday night - I'll start with the Cervidil, and they'd better knock me out HARD core that night, but if my cervix doesn't budge by morning, I am NOT getting the Pictocin.
