I actually think the movie worked better having Big Fat Kill in it instead of A Dame to Kill For mainly because...

Hard Goodbye and Yellow Bastard are similar stories. They're both tragic stories about a Sin City man who is in love with one girl and will do anything for them.

A Dame To Kill For is very similar to this theme, albeit with a twist. By putting A Big Fat Kill in the middle of the movie it gave it more variety and also some nice big action scenes in the middle.

I love A Dame to Kill For and want to see it in the sequel...but I think it would've hurt the pace to put it between hard goodbye and yellow bastard. They're both big emotional stories. Big Fat Kill worked great in the end.

And I also think Big Fat Kill was incredibly done.......as I love Clive Owen.

I did like how they took Dwight's monologue from A Dame to Kill For and put it in Hard Goodbye...cuz it's one sweet monologue.

i havent read Big Fat Kill yet, (just Hard Goodbye and part of Dame to Kill For) but i enjoyed that part of the movie for the most part. i thought the whole movie was pretty damn good. though i have to question casting jessica alba as nancy... the STRIPPER... when she wont do nude scenes (or even topless).
