I'm watching Interview With the Vampire for the 578,943rd time in my life. I find it sad that Kirsten Dunst's acting ability reached its peak when she was eleven.

so true. then there is Tom Cruise, who made an absolutly suck-tackular Lestat. Im tellin' ya, there is really only one way to spell LESTAT and it's C-H-R-I-S-T-I-A-N B-A-L-E!

I completly agree. What do you think about Sophia Copalla putting her in the role of Marie Antoinette?

Honestly I'm looking forward to that movie, Kirsten or no. In a way I think she fits MA's personality (what I've heard anyway). But I'm certainly not expecting to be wowed by her performance or anything. >_>

I adore that movie, though naturally I love the books more. Who is your favourite character? I go weak for Louis, I just can't help it. He's a wonderfully tragic character, and I really enjoyed the way Brad Pitt portrayed him in that film. Tom Cruise played the part of Lestat well in that film, but I don't think he looked right for the part. Queen of the Damned was just amusing. Stuart Townsend was an interesting choice for Lestat in that one, too, but again, didn't look write. I quite liked the way he talked.

Oh, me too! My favorites are probably tied between Louis and Claudia. Like you said, Louis is wonderfully tragic and Brad Pitt did a fantastic job with that role. For Claudia I think I just love the idea of a lethal woman in a child's body, which brought me to the above post, lol. QOTD was just...amusing, yeah. I was really disappointed that they didn't make a proper movie of The Vampire Lestat. (I've only read the first two in the chronicles ^^;) I forgot about Townsend's voice though! That was interesting, indeed.
