I FINALLY acquired a copy of the movie Trainspotting, and have only just finished watching it. Wow. NOW I know what you guys were talking about. No progress on the Tropfest film has happened since... March, so that dream is probably made of pipes

Intense yes, although, given what I'd heard about it, I guess I was expecting something different. There certainly was plenty of comic relief through the thing. That doesn't change the fact that I was awesome. I've watched the whole thing all over again in scraps since I wrote this entry. I loved the "restaurant" scene at Mother Superior's place.

"Would Sir care for some garlic bread?"
"No, I'll just skip straight to the administration of hard drugs please."

And yes, Robert Carlyle (spelled correctly, congratulations!) played Begbie extremely well.
