Hyung(ㅠ) and hyeong(ㅕ) problem

Lol I know what you mean... I actually am Korean-American and I speak Korean, so I get what you are saying. Romanji just sucks here. Like Kim yuna (olympic ice skater). It's 김연아, but everyone here says it like 유나 like yoona from snsd or something... It might have been better to spell her name yunha or something...

hrmm first because it's better to ask someone who is from korea to teach you b/c you can totally rely on them and there will be no 'crisis' when learning it
second since they're many chinese in your country,
you might be teach by a chinese(not that it's a bad thing tho)
they might confuse with korean and Chinese since it's almost the same and yeah the way they teach is incredibly good but i think it's only works for chinese

Ahh I think that's the problem of picking up korean language while watching drama or listening to korean songs. Like you say different ppl will have different ways of speaking--think the most important is to know the vowels and proceed from there, if I ever have a chance I'll really love to learn both Korean and Japanese.

b/c people tend to pick up some words that they heard from songs and dramas without knowing the meaning lol
i think it's better if you learn the letters first b/c it is super easy to remember korean alphabets

That would be me but I only pick up the easy ones to understand. I guess it may not be hard especially if you are interested in learning the language.
