My mum stayed over on christmas eve night, and I am so grateful that she wasn't working on christmas day. Last year she had to set of to work at 6am which meant she would miss the traditional "watching kids opening presents" thing, so she woke us all up at 5.30am with an air horn to announce that old Saint Nic had done his rounds.
