I watched Silent Hill last night with Ian, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's not my favourite film, and if I hadn't already anticipated it being quite 'slow' I probably would have struggled to 'get into' it. Having seen my ex play the game I had my expectations and the film greeted them quite well. It was definately as disturbing as the game, and

The Big Cat Diary book was very good, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, then I released it as a book swap on readitswapit.co.uk I was quite disappointed when it went, but I had already made the decision that if somebody requested it, I wasn't meant to keep it. Strangely enough I was in a charity shop yesterday and saw a copy of the same book. I was very tempted to purchase it, but I didn't on the grounds that I have already read it. If it is still there the next time I am in that shop, I might not be able to stop myself from buying it :)

I haven't seen the movie for The Amber Spyglass, but if is anything as good as the book, I will definately be getting hold of a copy when it comes out on DVD.
