Live Journal "friends"

Hey guys, I know I haven't posted forever, but I have a question.

I have three people claiming to be my friend on the friends list.

One I don't know
Two are NOT my friends.

How do I ask them to knock it off?

You can certainly ask them to take you off their friends list. It's up to them whether to comply. You are of course under no obligation to add them to your friends list.

LiveJournal doesn't let you prevent someone from adding you to their friends list, but you can ban them so that a) they will not show up in your Friend Of list, and b) they will not be able to comment in your journal. If you don't want them to be able to read your posts, you can make the posts friends-only. You can't prevent anyone from reading public posts, as far as I can tell.

You can also change your blog to friends only which might give them a clue.

I have a number of folks "friended" on my blog that I don't reciprocate.
