I ended up working yesterday from 8-3:30ish. It wasn't too bad, and I think we got quite a bit done. After work I went home and had a shower, got changed and went over to Crissy's for Nathan's 7th birthday party. Crissy and I went to DQ to pick up the icecream cake. well, it's a snow day today! I ended up driving into Langley city with my mom. (she had snow tires on the van! hurrah!) and I went to Coast Mountain to get some shoes. I ended up getting these hiking boot/shoes that are really quite good. They cost $179 but they are waterproof and warm. I also got some wool hiking socks (3 pairs for almost $70... ( Read more... )

I slept in till almost 10:15am today. Guess I really needed it, although at the end of my sleep I started having weird dreams... bah. we had quite the storm today. It was windy, up to 90kmh... and raining like crazy. All day all I heard was fire trucks... driving home sucked, power was out everywhere, there were firetrucks blocking certain roads and some trees had fallen on roads and powerlines... it's crazy.
