So, at the suggestion of Bandi, I had a listen to "The Instance", which is a WoW-related podcast. I looked at the time spent as research time, since it gave me a better understanding of how a successful podcast is structured. Still not very far along in terms of my own plans for my own foray into the realm of podcastery, but I have been gathering

My teenager really likes The Instance, but I have to tell you - I believe those folks are professionals. One of them does My XtraLife Radio - and so they have a lot of resources at their fingertips. Do me a favor, if you're thinking of getting into it. Start with short. The biggest problem of a lot of casts is that they think "viable" means "long boring segments". Keep them short. Please?! :D

My husband has been thinking of doing one, too, so - I wish you good luck. If you need input, I'm always full of it. ^_^

As for the rest of it. Moo back. :) Try not to let your brain asplode. Otherwise all that cleaning will have to be done all over again. ::hugs::

Good advice. Was aiming for short in any case. At least until the peepul decide they want more yeti (heh, yeah - that's gonna happen)

Honestly it's just an experiment for the most. I've built a lot of webpages over the years, I've never delved into the realm of multimedia content prior to this, so it should be...interesting.

As for the asplodey bits...meh... If I keep myself busy enough perhaps my brain won't realize that it should be asploding. At least long enough for me to ninja-deconstruct some of the processes going on and figure out WTF is going on in my head ;)
