Yeah. There's a part of me that doesn't really care about any silly career, but I feel driven to it anyway, and I've never been able to completely separate how much of it is my own desire to accumulate more stuff, how much is what family/friends/society expect I should accomplish with my life, and how much of it is a sense of personal responsibility, so that I don't have to be bailed out in emergencies, noone has to take care of me when I'm old, etc

Nice to hear from ya! I find it even more funny, that not only do you have certain characteristics of my fiance' but you two also teach :). Anyway I'll be praying for a job opening for you. *hugs*
