Summary: Yamada wants to play a game.
Chinen was seated on Yamada's bed, in his room, in his house. Not for any particular reason other than he had nothing to do. He thought that Yamada would be his hero for the day, rescuing him from his boredom. He thought that his friend would at least talk to him. No. Yamada lay on his back, reading the manga he was holding up for himself, making just audible noises that could hardly pass for sufficient responses to Chinen's failed attempts to stir up a conversation.
"Yama-chan."
"Nn."
"I'm leaving."
"Nn."
"Really, I am."
"Nn."
"Yama-chan."
"Nn."
"I'm dying."
"Nn."
Chinen puffed out his cheeks, now very irritated with his friend that was obviously not listening to a word he was saying. He hopped off the bed and started walking towards the door. Yamada was being mean and he could find someone else who wanted to be with him. Who wouldn't?
"Chii."
Chinen turned around, pout in place. "Now you talk to me?"
"Sorry sorry..." Yamada rolled over, "Let's play."
"Play?" Chinen tilted his head.
"Mm. A game."
"What kind of game?" Chinen was curious. Yamada didn't offer to play with him, Chinen was the one who usually begged until he agreed.
Yamada smiled. "It's a fun game. You'll love it."
Chinen's expression brightened and he leaped back onto the bed. "I wanna play."
"It's a special game. Not a game you can win." Yamada sat up and placed his hand over Chinen's eyes. "Chii can't see."
"That's part of the game?"
"Mm. Now Chii has to be quiet. That's part of the game too."
"I've never played this game before, Yama-chan."
Yamada chuckled, "I said Chii has to be quiet."
Chinen opened his mouth to apologize, then realized if he said sorry that wouldn't be quiet. He pressed his lips together in a slight pout.
Yamada bent down and caught Chinen's lips with his, lingering for a moment before pulling back.
Chinen pulled Yamada's wrist, moving his hand from his eyes. "Yama-chan is only allowed to play with Chii."
