can't say I completely understand the particularities of your situation, but I've sure had a few of my own. I'd recommend reading Joan Didion's "The Year of Magical Thinking" She has an interesting take on death and grief.

I missed touch more than anything else after my husband died, it can be a precious and rare commodity.
