Classes are fairly interesting so far. I started classes Monday and I can already animate a bouncing 3D ball in Maya. Woot. (I would have rendered it out to show off, but I haven't figured that out yet). Have to create two different balls of varied weight for Monday.. time to get Maya reinstalled into my computer

You'll get used to the nekkid people. You just have to get to a point where you realize that naked doesn't always = sexual.

Since coming to Japan I've actually started to believe that seeing real naked people is actually fairly important for one's self-esteem. All day we're bombarded with images of what women's (and men's) naked bodies are "supposed" to look like, even if the ideals presented in magazines are totally unrealistic for 95% of the population. Seeing real people of various shapes and sizes naked in an asexualised situation is probably a good reminder of what bodies actually look like.
