Depression at it's slowest

It's going on 4 weeks now that I've had no DSL (or other high speed internet) at my place. As I just moved, we've been trying to get it set up, but no amount of haggling, hassling, prodding, or poking has really made it happen yet. It's been a series of problems - one after the other

really, it only took a week to get mine set up.
they gave me a date, but i just plugged in the DSL modem and played with it, and it worked.

Yeah, we went back and forth with SBC for 3 weeks and said "fuck it!" because they could not find our apartment TWICE. Morons.
