OPINIONS
(please try and explain why)

Religion in general:
Far from ideal, I'd say. There is a lot of corruption and hypocrisy.

Self mutilation:
I dont think it's particularly healthy, but if that's the only way someone knows how to "deal," I suppose it's more healthy than keeping things bottled up.

God:
I believe in God and am a Christian. I dont think that I am perfect or better than anyone else. I've met some satanists/atheists who are more knowledgeable than myself, who have studied the Bible and the Koran and other religious works and based their choices on that knowledge. And I respect that. Just as I would hope that my decision is respected.

Gang fights:
Sad and unnecessary. I really dont understand the logic: You looked crosseyed at my sister's boyfriend's uncle's step-daughter's 3rd cousin, so now, I'm going to get my brother's girlfriend's father's uncle's grandson to kill you!
Seriously though, I think it's sad that sometimes, a gang is the only "family" someone has. It's awesome how dedicated everyone is to everyone else, but it's so violent.

Television:
I've read that if you let a child watch TV before a certain age, s/he has a greater chance of developing ADHD. I think it's sad to be going down the street on a gorgeous day and see only maybe 1 child outside playing.

Books:
So much better than movies. I like knowing what's going on in someone's head so I better understand the actions of the character. They also build vocabulary and knowledge in general.

Music:
I try not to limit myself to just one genre.

Death:
I'm afraid of dying.

Church (not only catholic):
I dont know what to say; I'm upset with mine right now, though I wont go into the details. The "leaders" are being hypocritical buttholes.

Drugs:
For the most part, terrible. I smoke M. mabye 2 - 4 times a year, if that. I went to a Methamphetamine training once, and one of the ingredients is a gas that if you even inhale a miniscule amount, it's pretty much instant death. Why would anyone INGEST things like that?

Alchocol:
Dependency is a crazy, ugly thing. Though I dont have a problem with social drinking, or drinking to get totally smashed every once in awhile.

Sex:
I believe that this is personal and different for every person. I, myself, have only been with one person and for me, it should involve love and willingness to spend the rest of your life with the person.

http://www.geocities.com/theworldisempty/trades.html <---this is what I have. What has a home in my CD player changes very often. And then I also have a lot of various compliations people have made me of Black Metal and other stuff.

Do you have any band that has influenced your life really strong? Explain how and why.
My first thought was no. But I guess metal in general has influenced the way I view music in general. I hold people in contempt when they whine and complain about starving musicians and how wrong it is to not buy an album. The bands that I listen to are in like, 3 other bands, with families, and regular jobs. They arent trying to get rich quick and they just want to make music for music's sake. I have argued about this in Christian communities on LJ.

"No" because music influences my life a LOT but there is no one band that has played a bigger part than others. I'd be lost without music.

Lyrics that you can strongly relate to (bald the best lines)??

Do you feel anything at all?
Do you hear steps at the door?
..
It's life-the dark that binds you

~~~~~~
Since the day of my departure
I've been stumbling through reality
I play my symphony in reverse
In search for that special path
~~~~~~~

Time time time is always passing by
it doesnt care who you are
time is passing by

~~~~~~~
They're coming to take me away haha
They're coming to take me away hoho
To the funny farm where life is beautiful all the time
Best concert experience?
All of them. Even the two below. Zao, one of the members asked me if I was alright, while they were fixing something on stage in the middle of their set. He said I looked a little sick. And for Spoken, the bassist jumped into the crowed when we werent ready and landed right on me. He remembered me after the show and asked me if I was okay.
I Love live music.
Worst concert experience?
Zao and Spoken. For Zao, I swear some guy was trying to have sex with me from behind. But it was so packed, I couldnt move. And Spoken, There was one row of people in front of me, and then the stage. There was one row of people behind me and then the mosh pit. The b*tches in front of me would anchor their feet to the floor, their hands to the stage and thrust their butts out as hard as they could, causing the people beside me and I to nearly fall when the moshing subsided a bit. And there was some guy who kept his arms around 2 girls like a shield or something and he would just elbow people in the chest and stomach to keep people away from them. Damn. If they're too fragile to be without a body guard, get the fuck out of the crowd.
RANDOM QUESTIONS
Random likes:
Butterfiles, fall, nature, music, faeries, gargoyles, vampires, Labyrinth, homecooked food, the kids I work with
Random dislikes:
Blanket assumptions. >(
How do you wish to die?
I dont. I guess quickly and without pain.
Have you ever changed yourself to fit in? Why? How do you feel about it now??
Not to my knowledge, but I'm sure I have, some time.
Books/authors you've read and feel like everyone else should read:
The Picture of Dorian Grey, The Phantom of the Opera, Titus Andronicus.
Elizabeth Peters, Robert Ludlum, Oscar Wild, Shakespeare.
You get the chance to meet one person (dead or alive) and ask it only one question, who would it be and what the question would be?? Why??
Robert Ludlum, because he's my favorite writer. I would ask him where he got all of his information. He writes about spies (but more intricate!), secret governmental organizations/plots, government intelligence. He is very detailed about wars, different countries, policies for those countries/agencies. I have heard that he was questioned by the CIA when he was alive!
