I really enjoyed Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, what did you think?
I'm reading The Mysteries of Pittsburgh by Michael Chabon right now (so far only my second book this year, work is exhausting and I've no time to read!!) and liking it quite a lot, too.
I thought the Foer book was fantastic. There were many times when I was thinking that kid really needed a hug! Plus I enjoy any time an author breaks away from "the rules" and does things like having pages of just numbers (when the grandfather is trying to communicate through a payphone). That's brilliant stuff.
Have you read any Dave Eggers? I'd highly recommend A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius or You Shall Know Our Velocity! You'd love them!
Let me know how the Pittsburgh book turns out...I only have a few new books sitting on my shelf :)
