The wind blew comfortingly across his face, caressing his bangs lightly. The sound of the sea waves crashing was almost hypnotizing to hear. Kevin closed his eyes, drinking in the sound of the sea in a childlike bliss.
It was like everything, or the only thing, that could comfort him whenever he was negative or down. Understand him totally, and cheer him up with no words said. A rush of memories surged forward, like the waves lapping up at the stone walls. Kevin felt his heart throb slightly, the sound of the wind whistling through his ears.
He could listen to the sea forever.
“What are you going to do about it?”
Alexander's voice broke through his trance, causing Kevin to open his eyes immediately. The other male rested his body on the railings Kevin was seated on, his head tilted up to gaze at the starless sky above.
Kevin looked at the waves, lapping at the stone wall just below him.
“What about it?”
“You know what I'm talking about. You can't avoid it forever.”
“Its over.”
Those two words didn't stir much of a reaction in him, unlike a few days before.
“And so it isn't to me. Not until I've properly given him a good punch on his face.”
“He's stronger than you.”
“I'll poke a hole in those fake muscles with my pin.”
Kevin's lips curled up in a slight smile, his eyeball rolling to look at Alexander from the corner of his eyes. That guy really needed to loosen up. His eyes turned back to the sea again. It was vast, the breeze temporarily dropping down. Those waves were like life. It picks before it drops again. Always.
The higher you climb, the faster you fall.
Alexander shuffled, his hint being realized by the other male. Kevin gave a last look to the sea, before climbing off the rail slowly. His legs were slightly numb from the long hours and the coldness of his surroundings, his arms cold and body slightly shivering.
It was only now then he had realized that his body temperate had dropped to a dangerous degree. Kevin spoke nothing, suppressing the need to shiver badly. Alexander's warm hands came to help him, his mouth clucking in obvious distaste.
Kevin chuckled lightly. “Let's go back.”
Days passed, and day by day, Kevin returned to the sea to stare at the ocean for a good few hours before letting Alexander drag him back.
The boy didn't know how much worry he was causing to him, Alexander thought, rather angrily, to himself. Kevin wasn't at home again. Probably out at the sea, and clad in nothing but some shirt and pants. Not even a coat or a jacket!
He really did wished he could have the chance to give Eli a punch in the face.
Causing so much pain within the fragile heart of his sworn brother, and not even feeling one tiny bit of remorse for it.. Eli definitely needed a kick to his balls. Maybe he could think better down there, seeing as there wasn't much above.
Alexander could see everything.
The deteriorating health, the weakness and the lesser movements Kevin now made. It was a contrast from his bubbly usual self. A big, no. Huge contrast.
Grabbing the jacket and his keys, Alexander swore to himself that he would be getting to Eli soon. Even if Eli knew chinese material arts.
For the sake of Kevin.

“Stay at home today. Don't go out to the sea, alright?”
Kevin pouted at him, his thinner but still adorable face staring up at Alexander's. The older male sighed, tucking Kevin into the bed with a thick blanket. “The doctor said that the cold temperature near the sea isn't doing your body good. Stay. Please.”
A smile stretched on Kevin's lips, his eyes crinkling up.
“What? Are you concerned for me? You must not be Alexander-hyung!”
“Yah! You insolent little punk! You're lucky you're sick now. If not I'll sit on you and fart on your face!” Alexander shook at elegant finger at Kevin, who was chuckling lightly on the bed. Something light lifted in his heart, knowing that least Kevin wasn't that depressed about it anymore.
Before he had left, Alexander tucked in his shoes, checked for his keys and wallet.
And he remembered to tell Kevin not to go out to the sea, to stay in bed and recuperate before they could go out for karaoke again. Kevin had replied back a cheery okay.
Tossing one last smile over to Kevin over his shoulder, Alexander closed the door behind his back.
His cheery eyes immediately narrowed, with only one thought intent in his mind.
To find Eli.
Never once did Alexander thought to look back at Kevin one last time, missing the shadow of what a broken hearted person could ever hold on his face.
