I'll swap crappy insurance stories... I'm on BlueCross BlueShield HMO Blue, and next year my university is dumping it and will try to force us all on their PPO plan. My primary care physician referred me to an encrinologist miles out of my way, but I've been going and he's been great. Unlike my pcp who was always trying scare tactics, this guy is calm, well read, and my last visit was great. Only to get a letter in the mail the next day saying, "Oh The diagnostic clinic you're are going to is dropping HMO Blue effective Oct. 31, 2006." My next appointment with the guy is in JANUARY. DAMMIT!

I'm sorry about the nuttiness known as your work and especially about your four-legged friend. This year has been a hellish hard year for my lj friends and their pets (mine included).
