Okay, so my division is prosecuting a case against this guy who is a manager of the Pharmarcy at a local Walgreens. The defendant is accused with stealing Hydrocodone pills (Vicodin is a brand name for Hydrocodone) and then selling them. Except, the defendant is accused of taking so much Hydrocodone that it counts as traficking and so his case ( Read more... )

That's a hell of a lot to take. Question becomes, what is the competancy of his defense lawyer?

Actually, it's possible...

Tolerance build up and so forth it's actually possible.
We were just talking about this the other night w/ a friend who's a nurse. He has a patient who's on what *should* be a nearly lethal dose of morphine a few times a day. (Car accident, pain killer, long story) However, she's an attorney and she functions just fine with no strange effect. You'd never know she took anything.
If the guy built up his tolerance to it he can be popping a few an hour and nobody may ever notice.

My scumbag ex stepfather used to take a serious amount of vicodin, when I serious, like 4 with every meal. He'd been taking pain killers like that since when he got out of Vietnam.

::shrugs:: I dont know it possible, but not probable.

If nothing else the stupidity of his lawyer should make your job easier!
