I realized I had more growing outside and took some more pics. The tulips are starting to bloom and the hostas are sticking their litte "heads" out of the winter mulch, It's so fun to see them come up purple and then unfurl their green leaves. The ferns are beginning to stretch up their frond-beginnings, and the muscari have arrived.

Wonderful! Aren't they just lovely! My rhodies won't be opened up for a couple more weeks yet, I expect - are yours early? Spring is so beautiful and fresh.

I was really surprised that they were blooming so early - my other rhodies (one by the den window,and a couple in the back yare) aren't showing any blooms yet. These (there are three of them all grown together) are in front of our bay window overlooking the front yard.
Spring has always been my favorite season - and muscari (grape hyacinths) the first flowers I remember as a child (growing beside our house.:)
