I hope everyone had a happy and safe New Year's Eve. We went dancing and were swinging in the New Year with a whole bunch of others. Biggest New Year's Eve party we've been to in years. Great fun. Tired,for sure, but still a lot of fun

john adams historical perspective

yes, for anyone who likes history (as I do) it is a great read ... I found it as we were going through my father-in-law's library after he died. I also have the miniseries based on the book (gift from my sweeties - have to set aside time to watch it...sometimes easier to pick up a book sometimes:) )
It will be interesting to see what parts of the book get emphasized in the miniseries...but I hear it got good reviews as well.
