Yes, you're right. The reading-advents calendar is missing. I thought about starting one, but I was sure I wouldn't be able to read one story every day.
But I'm not sure I ever read this one, so thank you for the rec, I'll go and read it.
I'm sorry I couldn't do the Christmas story calendar this year - I just didn't have time to try and convince enough people to join in, and if they didn't do the recs myself this year, but I must admit I thought about it when I was setting up Dialj and ProsFandomCards, and I knew I was going to miss it in my flist... So thank you!
Maybe now that you've posted, other people might too. *g* And I can try to make a post asking people to do it, as well...
I like this story, too! I haven't read it this year, but I often read it around Christmas, and it's fun. I love the thought of the lads all cosy up in the Highlands... *vbg*
PS - I don't think I've driven on that exact road, but I've driven around the area generally, and on some pretty little and windy roads with amazing views... It's so gorgeous up there!
I've personally driven this route and it's great. I love castles. :) I need to look at this story to remind me of it since I currently have a blank! Thanks for the rec and photos.

That's my way too. Reading what I want to read, even if I know the story.

Thank you for you post about doing the same. Would be nice to get some recs :-)
Scotland is a lovely place and going there is on list. Some day I will be driving around the pass with the lovely name :-)
Have a good time at the other end of the world.

I'd enjoy our lads if they were driving donuts in the driveway!

Yeah, we would even love that.

Have been on this pass or the NC 500 - or maybe both ?
Hope you enjoy the story and think about Scotland.
