I can kind of understand Clark's distrust but oh man, has he ever put together the facts in the most unlikely manner.

Clark totally misunderstands everything Lex says and does. But Lex is not exactly trying to be crystal clear. Mrph, I have such a hard time with these Clark POV sections, because I try to make him make sense and not be horrible but I always just want to smack him. So I don't know if they are the best they can be. And possibly this one doesn't have anywhere near enough in it. Clark is just, like, not able to process being told Lex is in love with him because Lex always avoids him and acts cold to him and now this whole KID THING. And they have totally opposite views.

Ah, hmm, I'm just trying to get it written and eventually I'll put it all together and make it work better?

I just discovered this series. I love Smallville fic with Conner, so I will totally be reading whatever you write. =D
