I'm going to give the canonical vague and unhelpful answer: it depends! But seriously, it does. In a slow and languid seduction scene, "yes, sir" is *much* better, but when it's all frenetic passion, the spaces and the commas and whatnot feel out of place. They're overcome by lust, words should be blending together! So, that's my two cents.
