I can't say how well any legislation will work in practice, but antibulling policies in schools can really make a huge difference. My brother went to a school specifically focused on preventing it and I was surprised to find they actually lived up to their reputation. I think having mission statements and a procedure in place will work, but when something's up to interpretation, we'll run into an issue every time. And I agree with the adult part - I found a lot of times, teachers would turn a blind eye, hence the entire 'up to the teacher's interpretation' part.

I dunno - I'm not for bullying, but I think we need to have law, and stop having young offenders acts cover up something that is unacceptable adult behavior.
