Me: How are we ever going to organize this stuff and get the house ready to sell?
Him: We'll just hire movers to come pack it all up for us.
Me: The idea is to have less stuff. If we move all this, we'll just be drowning in the new house.
Him: We'll hire shoddy movers and maybe they'll lose half the boxes.

Anyone good at organizing?

And when they lose half your stuff surely you can sue them to buy all new furniture!

Aren't you buying a bigger house, though, so you wouldn't really be drowning?

New furniture! Yes! The new house might be bigger, but I'm so looking forward to a zen-like home with no clutter. I know it will never happen, but I'm aiming high. Maybe I'll end up with a house that I can walk through in the dark without tripping.
