OMG THIS POST IS SO ADORABLE (which is really saying something coming from me because I am afraid of cats)

:-)
My cats aren't scary at all. What they are is spoilt rotten!
I still can't believe Kinky unwrapped his present.

My best friend in high school at had bloody terrifying cats and I've always only at best tolerated them (I'm a dog person myself). When I was in Florence at a Tuscan winery there were three cats and one of the ladies in the tour group made me face my cat fear and pat one :P

Cats can be scary if you aren't used to them. My cats are very friendly, probably because I interact with them so much. I think you would like my kitties.

It's very cool how you just didn't say "I hate cats" but said that you are scared of them. My theory is that alot of people who 'hate' cats just haven't ever really spent time with them - an unknown cat can be very daunting.

I volunteer as a cat carer at an animal shelter every Saturday, so I have seen many a cat, and some of them are very scary! (okay for me because I am very comfortable with cats, although I have had many a scracth and bite, and cat scratches can get very nasty!)

I have always wanted to read Isobelle Carmody! I will put it on the to-read list. I am worried though it may be similar to this thing I am working on at the mo (which I havent had time for in the past few months I'll admit). That would be very cool if you reviewed her. And also that other book you were talking about. I have to write their names in my diary.

Have you read any Jennifer Fallon stuff? I read some (by accident) and really quite enjoyed some of it. I think she lives (or lived?) in Alice Springs.
