Seven days may not seem very long, but it is amazing how well I got to know everyone in that short amount of time. As each day progressed, my dependancy on everyone grew. Getting to know these amazing people, and sharing all of the experiences our trip had to offer, really left a mark on me. I sit here now, flipping through the vibrant pages of a scrapbook that contains not only my dearest memories, but evidence that I actually was in Puerto Rico. Two weeks later, the individual events and stories begin to fade into one dreamlike haze. The intricate tales of our adventures are now mere flashbacks that pass through my mind. As I glance at each photograph, both sadness and happiness wash over me. There is no way to describe how it feels when you can’t recall each distinct day, and how lonely it is to be on your own again. After spending a solid week around everyone, its incredibly hard to say goodbye. While I miss everyone more than I thought possible, I am truly thankful for the memories they have given me.
