Earthquake, new kitchen counter tops, etc

Holy Shit!  An earthquake right her in Virginia!  I was off work today but was at the clinic to call a few owners.  It took us a few seconds to realize what had happened.  Didn't like that feeling, don't know how'd I do if I ever moved to California!!

Finished some kitchen renovations a couple weeks ago.  Over the range microwave, new granite

Earthquakes never get any easier! They scare me to death, every time. :(

I envy your kitchen and bath fixes. I'll bet the ktichen looks great.

Stupid LJ, my notifications are still spotty so I didn't see this until today. I can't imagine earthquakes get easier.... that is too weird of a feeling!

Hurricanes don't get any easier either, waiting on Irene :(

Thanks.... luckily for me, I'm not in an area that floods from the storm surges. I'm more worried about the wind and trees near my condo!!
