I quite lke this poem - is it by one of your classmates? I'm not entirely sure what it's about though, especially the last two stanzas. Care to explain?
I'm not sure whether I'm interpreting this right but I believe the last two stanzas has to do with the surfacing of the dogs (in the basement) from the subconscious. The librarian - a symbol of rationality - is completely disoriented because she cannot deal with this animalistic creativity that has surface. Perhaps a part of this is sexual too - "I romp with joy in the bookish dark"? Haha..
