what you mean is "an additional 24 hours to myself in one day" otherwise you are liable to fill those additional 24 hours with more activities.

i realized this too recently. one saturday i took a book with me and bought a coffee and read it at starbucks for an hour. after that i was stupefied - i suddenly realized i had not done that in over a year or two perhaps more.

that's true. and right now, as i'm writing this, i'm taking my first break from weeks of tightly packed schedules. feels weird, yet so comforting to take a breather. there's always a time for everything - including breaks. sometimes we forget that.
