Yes yes! I came across the quote while surfing a friend's facebook yesterday (opps shouldn't I be studying?). It really touched my heart. To love is to open up the possibility of being hurt. Hmm.

I guess vulnerability is the prequisite to getting that warm fuzzy feeling with someone else successfully... if ur heart's never been broken b4 due to ur ziplocking it in the coffin, then that precludes access by other pple... ur heart's only known u, no one else:

Unless of cuz one is capable of falling in love with himself... is it possible to be vulnerable to urself in this way?=p

This is such a late reply but thanks! My exams are finally over. Beginning to dislike linguistics somewhat. Wish I did Lit instead!
