Until last night there was a willow tree growing on the riverbank behind my house.  It was the only willow there, and had survived for a couple of years doing what willow trees do - stabilising riverbanks.  How convenient.  On walking Stella this lunchtime I noticed immediately that the tree was not to be seen.  Peering over the edge of the steep

I hate vandalism like that, we have a lot of trolls round our way, mostly though they write on walls and garage doors, very annoying when you go out to get your car in the morning.

Thanks. Yes, trolls are nasty. And all that happens is that they grow up into bigger trolls. Then they breed.

I'm so sorry, my love - not to mention quite *angry* at those idiots who couldn't have found another way to spend time than destroying such a beautiful tree. I've never witnessed such vandalism... and if I ever have, I don't think I'll be able to just sit and watch, if you see what I mean.

I've never understand why someone behaves like this. :( Trees have also life just like us, they have feelings and sensations. :(

Everything has life - my scissors have life, the desk has life, so trees are exponentially greater. I'd hazard a guess that my willow tree had a higher IQ than the dumbfucks who snapped her in two. The more I think about it, the more I have to *see* the poor thing lying in the river, the angrier I become. At least something, fish, the ducks, can use her now I suppose. I hope. Little, tiny water beasties...undines...
