the only thing I have problems dealing with is his Dead Mothers stuff.
They have no real value to me but I'm not a jerk. I think I'm going to ask one of his friends to hold it. If he doesn't want too...then I guess I should throw that away as well.
Well I'd still pawn it off after giving him, say, 30 days. There might be some money to be made. Of course you could always donate away usuable stuff too.
My personal vote? Ask a mutual friend to relay a message: "Thirty days for everything or it's going to Value Village." He still has a little bit of time to get it and not only do you look like the better man, you actually are the better man.
That being said, good for you getting rid of him and his crap. No idea what he was like but as a Championship Emotional Clinger to exes I applaud you! :-)
Btw... I feel your pain on the elbow. I was doing dips and chin ups for the whopping second time in my life on an assisted machine, and apparently I didn't assist my overweight ass as much as I should have. >.
It's amazing how ex's seem to think they can still expect shit of you despite being an EX! Dude, do what you think is right, I think it's kind of you to ask someone to hang onto his mom's stuff, but you can't be a free storage unit indefinitely.
