Inflamitory To Catholics, sorry.

*hugs* that's so annoying but trolls like that are impossible to deal with. You can ban her from commenting to your journal again, I believe, but there would be NOTHING you could say that would shake her warm and woolly smugness.

You've behaved perfectly sensibly in taking the best options available to you - the problem is hers.

If you can be made to not live in pain, you should do what you must do to not live in pain.

Period.

Children are great, they're grand, (and they're a pain!) But they are NOT the price of your health.

The problem with religious people generally (although like all generalization it suffers from being held up to specific people) is that they are always right. You can't argue with someone who has a diety in her corner.

However, that said, very few people who believe in a diety don't believe in free will. And it's not free will if you have someone sitting on your head demanding you make the choices she would make in your position or they will crush you like the bug you are.

I understand how annoying it is to have a total stranger question your choices and belittle your experience and your suffering. She can take solice that in your position she would do "the right thing." You take solice in the fact that you have defined a course of action which will ideally lead to a better life with less pain and more enjoyment all around.

Thinking of you with love.
