it took me to page 416 before i clued in, and then i alternately cursed his evil genius and giggled at his brilliance :)

I got to enjoy it from about pg 232 - at which point I went "oh! People are going to laugh at me for not having clued in *much* earlier - I just thought it was in the same universe..." It did make some of the intervening parts *highly* enjoyable.
