Carped weekend
Features of the weekend, in no particular order.
Although I didn't get as much done as I wanted to -- the major cleaning and straightening for next weekend is still undone -- I declare the weekend officially carped.
- Took pictures of the results of the impressive 5 minute hailstorm yesterday morning (said storm left ice drifts for 6 hours afterward).
- Started writing materials around 2 of the work projects I've inherited -- both projects to be implemented June 1, as I understand it.
- Got all the analysts' comments into the requirements-from-hell
- Applied a small upgrade to test, tested it, found it wanting, and informed the developer
- Made the sports closet really fairly organized. I can see floor.
- Got the Fisher-Quinn Palace out of my house (HH is never going camping again, and if I do, I'll buy a 1-man or 2-man tent -- something I can put in a pack.)
- Un-buried the roses
- Cut the grass.
- A walk of indeterminate length - to Woodbine was about 8 miles, and I kept going to Pape because I didn't want to go home yet (It was gorgeous out , and I was going home to do work-work.)
- made Glasgow bridies
- Got my sweetie to do the heavy lifting on the taxes we haven't sent in yet
- Watched Last Chance Harvey, and a couple of TV shows from last week
- Took rough measurements for fence replacement, and discussed next steps with HH
- Out-grammar nazi'd HH
- Slew some pixels
- Listened to a couple of TED talks
