Time for another vid! This was created for freakgeeknation as part of the deancas_xmas exchange. I have a huge thing for angsty vids and this is the first vid where I've really gotten to express my angst love. Now I just need to make a vid to go along with the ending of Sherlock. XD

2 of my favorite Fandoms. I LOVE 30STM though I thought that Alibi would be a better Dean/Cas song from the new album. Hurricane works well too =-)

Oh, really? I haven't heard Alibi. I'll have to check it out. This was really my first experience with 30STM, but I loved Hurricane when I heard it and thought it worked well for D/C. The only other song I've heard by them is This is War, which I also really enjoyed.

I'm a huge fan of the band. Saw the 4 times in the past year. Even fought my way up on stage & met them. Nice fucking guys. The fandom (Called Echelon) is just as crazy & family like as the SPN family. In fact Jard Leto the lead singer was in Girl Interrupted with Misha. I guess someone asked at a Q&A if they ever met & Misha laughed & said no. In all honesty I could see him getting along really well with the brothers Leto they are all crazy artist types & have Charities that do good work in Haiti. Pretty sure that if the 3 got together & hung out my ovaries would explode.

You can't imagine how much I fucking adore this. Hurricane is very possibly my favorite song of all time, and ever since watching S6 I've been thinking about Cas and Dean every time I hear it. And then you do this, and do it so freaking PERFECTLY. Hnnngh. *____*

Thanks you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed the vid! I had never heard Hurricane until my recipient requested it, but I was shocked at how perfectly it fit Dean/Cas. I loved the angstiness of the Dean/Cas arc in season 6 so it was fun watching it all again to get clips. (And heartbreaking, of course.)XD

(aside: you use WMM right? what do you save your files as to get them to size they are? I'm trying to save a vid right now as high quality large (abitious I know!) and WMM is not having it... if you could suggest something else I'd love you forever)

Yay, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I love rewatching Cas and Dean's storyarc in season 6-7 because it's so horribly angsty. Not that I have a slight angst obsession or anything.

I actually use Adobe Premiere when vidding. The file size is huge when I export it, like 1.3Gs. Then I use Virtual Dub to compress it to a reasonable size. I really don't know a lot about the technical side of vidding - I really just follow the directions that gnine wrote down for me. XD

Adobe Premiere huh? Maybe I should get me one of those :p Dunno why I thought you used WMM. Probably a mistaken thought taken from one of our merry evenings together.

Angst angst angst. The BEST thing about S06-7 hands down. Let us wallow in it together XD
